Shawna went to Toronto Sick Kids' for a bone marrow transplant in the summer
of 1996. After the operation, Shawna was bored, so we sent a note out on the internet; a
short story about Shawna. People from all over the world started sending her cards, teddy bears,
all sorts of things. Some people sent her angels. They were from Viet Nam, England, South America, Africa,
Australia, from all over. There was one from Uncle Mike, and Shawna took that one to
heaven with her.This is some of those things. There were many huge bags full of these. |
